IER has taken over the scheme from Transport for London and now operates and manages Source London on behalf of the scheme partners. This involves providing the back office support systems required to operate the charge points, as well as the contact centre and website.

About Source London
Subscribing to Source London costs £5 to be a member until 31/12/2014. From the 1st of January 2015 a new pricing schedule will come into effect. IER will write to all customers ahead of any new pricing schedule to invite them to join the scheme.
You can find all the information regarding location and compatibility of the charge point on our station map or on our mobile apps. Some are on-street, others are in parking lots.
Source London covers the inside of the M25, with some exceptions such as a few charge points in Slough. We intend to increase the number of charge points around London, but we will keep the cover within the M25. Other charging networks exist in London and outside our coverage. You can recognize Source London charge points because of the logo.
Source London charge points all have a Source London logo on them, some will be indicated by a logo on the floor or somewhere around it. All Source London points are detailed on our online map and our mobile application.
At the moment, there are no specific solutions for companies. We are looking into this and if we make any changes, we will let customers know. At the moment, if you have more than one vehicle, you will need to set up an individual membership per vehicle.
As an electric vehicle, you will not have to pay congestion charge as long as your vehicle is registered with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency and you have successfully registered your vehicle with TfL by following this link (https://congestioncharging.tfl.gov.uk/).
Source London allows you to charge your electric vehicle using Source London charge points around London.
To have access to this service, you simply need to register to receive a membership card that will allow you to access the charge points across London and park at any of the spaces in our network. Please note that parking charges might apply.
Yes, we are planning to introduce a reservation system in 2015. This will allow Source London members to reserve their charge point and parking bay before they want to charge.

To subscribe to Source London, all you need is an electric vehicle, and a payment card. You can sign up for membership here. You do not need any documents.
We accept debit and credit VISA, MASTERCARD and MAESTRO cards. We also accept pre-paid VISA and MASTERCARD cards.
You can update your information at any time by logging into your account on our website.
Electric Vehicle users can join the Source London scheme and gain access to charge points across London for only £5 until 1 January 2015.
Members will receive a membership card which will allow them to charge for free at all Source London Charge Points.
If you have lost your membership card, you must contact our call centre at 0203 056 8989 to request a new card.
All bills can be found on our website in your account under “my invoices”.
The “My account” section on our website allows you to do a number of things.
You will be able to look at or modify your account details: contact information, address.
You will also be able to look at your membership history.
In order to change the email address on your account, simply log on to your account on www.SourceLondon.net. Once you are logged in, just check on the personal information page and change it from there. You can only have one email address per account.
Unfortunately, we cannot suspend the card or extend the expiry date. We can desactivate the card and issue a replacement one. In order to do so and for further information, please contact us on 0203 056 8989.
If you have more than one vehicle, you will need to set up an individual membership per vehicle.

IER operate secure data protection policies which comply with the Data Protection Act 1998. Your details will only be used for the purposes of customer service and the administration of the Source London.
Memberships are only allowed in one person's name and associated with one email address. You can only register one electric vehicle per membership.
Park & Charge
- The rules governing Source London parking bays depend on where they are located. The exact regulations which apply are determined by the charge point owners. Some charge point owners do not impose a time limit and others offer free or reduced parking charges.
- You should always check local signage to determine what regulations apply. If in doubt you can contact us on 0203 056 8989 or contact the charge point owner for further information.
- Some London boroughs and charge point owners do offer free or reduced rates for Electric Vehicle parking. Please contact your Borough or the charge point owner for more information.
- In general, you will have to pay any relevant parking charges if you are using a public charge point. Please make sure to check the signage at the charge point for any parking charges.
The rules governing Source London parking bays depend on where they are located. Some bays may allow both electric and non-electric vehicles to park. Be sure to check the signage at the charge point to confirm what regulations apply. If in doubt you can contact us on 0203 056 8989 or contact the charge point owner. We will make sure we do everything we can to keep Source London bays exclusive to electric vehicles where it is possible.
Start by ensuring that you are following the instructions on the charge point. There are several charge point models across London and the procedures may differ slightly. Do not make any attempt to force the cable out.
If there seems to be a problem, you can call us any time at 0203 056 8989 and our call centre will do its best to resolve your problem.
You should start by calling us at 0203 056 8989, as it is possible that the charge point has a fault. Our contact centre may be able to help you and if we can’t resolve it over the phone we will advise the charge point manufacturer of the fault.
If the car itself is faulty, we will not be able to assist and recommend that you call your car manufacturer.
You can check the compatibility of your car with Source London charge points on the UKEVSE website. There are several types of charge points in the Source London network and it is likely that your car is compatible with a number of them.
Depending on where you are parked, you may have to pay via standard pay & display or other modes of payment in parking lots. Please refer to the signage at the parking bay for more information.

There are a number of different types of charge points in the Source London network. The majority are double headed 3kWh and 7kWh charge points, which should charge your car from 0% to 75% in 6 or 3 hours respectively.
There are some fast charge points, please look for them on our charge point map. We recommend you to check the compatibility of your vehicle with this type of charge point.
Some underground parking lots in London do have Source London charge points installed. We recommend you start by checking on our website’s charge point map or our mobile app.
There are several different types of charge points in Source London, which vary in look but work in similar ways, with instructions on the screen on the charge point. You can also call us at any time on 0203 056 8989 if you are having any trouble.
We are working with all the charge point owners to ensure that we have consistent charge points across London to improve the user experience.
At some charge points there might be a slight delay while the card is being checked. Please allow up to 10 seconds before trying again.
Always look at the screen display for instructions and guidance on when / how to present your card to the unit.

The vast majority of charge points in London are part of the Source London network and we intend to install more starting in September 2014.
If you come across a charge point that does not have Source London branding, it is not part of the Source London network and another network operator controls it. You will therefore not be able to access it using your Source London card.
If you wish to report a problem with a charge point that is not part of the Source London network you will need to contact the relevant operator. You should find the contact details of the operator on the charge point.
You are responsible for your charging cable. Please contact your car manufacturer or the dealership from which you bought the car.
There are different types of Charge posts in operation; all should have an easily found sticker with our phone number (0203 056 8989) and an ID number (what we call the serial number) on them. The ID number has 3 digits then an underscore then 5 digits. i.e. 100_12345

From a landline it will be the price of a local call. Please check with your mobile operator for call costs if you are calling from a mobile.
Charge points are designed such that no power will go through the cable as long as they are not plugged in at both ends. We do not consider that there is more risk when plugging it when it is raining.
