Source London is a city-wide network of electric vehicle charge points which makes charging easy and convenient for drivers of pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Source London was launched by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, in 2011 and is now operated by the Bolloré Group. Some charge points are located in the street, while others can be found in the car parks of buildings such as supermarkets and shopping malls. Source London will give electric vehicle drivers the confidence to know they can get around easily without range anxiety.

At this point, there are 1,300+ charge points across London. 4,500 more will be installed between now and 2018.

The charge points are accessible to any member of the Source London scheme. By becoming a member of Source London, EV drivers can use charge points situated across the capital using a single membership card.

Essentially, you will never have to go to the petrol pump again, since you’ll be ‘filling up’ whenever you park in one of the Source London spaces.
