There are different types of Charge posts in operation; all should have an easily found sticker with our phone number (0203 056 8989) and an ID number (what we call the serial number) on them. The ID number usually starts by 986 followed by 000 and a further 4 digits, eg 9860001234
There are a number of different types of charge points in the Source London network. The majority are double headed 3kWh and 7kWh charge points, which should charge your car from 0% to 75% in 6 or 3 hours respectively.
There are some fast charge points, please look for them on our charge point map. We recommend you to check the compatibility of your vehicle with this type of charge point.
As different charge points will have different procedures, the easiest way to find out how to use a charge point is by following the instructions on the screen.
You will never have to pay any parking fees when using our charge points which are located on–street, even in Central London. For off-street charge points and depending on where you are parked, you may have to pay via standard pay & display or other modes of payment in parking lots. Please refer to the signage at the parking bay and/or car park for more information.

At some charge points there might be a slight delay while the card is being checked. Please allow up to 10 seconds before trying again.
